Together with distributor Gateway Intertrade, HIMOINSA has taken part in the National Engineering 2018 Forum of Thailand in Bangkok, 1-3 November 2018, attracted visitors from civil, mechanical, electrical, IT and various engineering fields.
Themed ‘Smart Engineering, Smart Life, Smart Nation’, the forum addressed the country’s showcased engineering designs, innovations and trends in the smart city development that deploying smart technologies to deliver operational and environmental efficiencies to improve the quality of life for the whole society.
Smart transportation system is one of the main highlights of the event. During years of development, Thailand has established a comprehensive transportation system including high speed rail, underground electrical rail, metro, airway, waterway, interstate highway, and Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). As the smart transportation system gradually taking shape, HIMOINSA generator sets have been widely applied in various transportation projects across the country.

During the exhibition, HIMOINSA introduced the projects we participated in the nation's smart transportation development. More than 10 units of HFW generator sets that powered by FPT engine with soundproof canopy have been used for Motorway M7, 13 units of open skid HVW powered by Volvo engine have been applied for MRTA Purple Line, more than 15 units of HDW and HTW with Doosan and Mitsubishi engines have been supplied for Red line, not to mention the most well-known Silon area, HIMOINSA HPW generator sets provides backup power for the busy BTS line.
Besides transportation, we are proud to share with visitors that HIMOINSA generation sets have also been applied in hundreds of commercial, residential, government and industrial projects cross the country. In the heart of Bangkok's central business district, the new landmark – Krungsri Ploenchit Tower, one of Thailand’s leading environmentally-friendly buildings, was built with energy-efficient designs in compliance with Leadership in Energy & Environment Design (LEED) standards, has applied 2 units of HIMOINSA HTW-1530 powered by Mitsubishi engine to provide uninterrupted backup power to the building.
The new Parliament building that occupying 300,000 square meters along the Chao Phraya River in Kiakkai, has adopted 1 unit of HTW-1030 T5, HTW-1260 T5, HTW-1745 T5, and 2 units HTW-2030 T5, in total of 5MW power by HIMOINSA.
